Christopher Hitchens is someone who already was someone people were getting tired of, but looking back the guy was just a neoliberal scumbag journalist. I have no doubt that he would have likely doubled back on his Free Speech views as he really liked weaponizing the press against people and figures. His Mother Teresa antagonism is basically peak Anglo seethe where he basically cited himself by citing a Academic Journal that cited him as a primary source, inventing the current Wikipedia-Media Outlet cycle of smearing a name.

I think he'd probably be another Bill Maher ready to be just outside of the norms of the powers that be.
