Bluey if they're younger, Gravity Falls if they're a bit older. Early The Simpsons works for kids and grown-ups, as well.

But best way to find out is to watch a few of the choices and see which ones you think are appropriate. Parent.

Classic late 1960s and 1970s Sesame Street had some pretty trippy animation.

And here are some of my favourite 1970s (maybe early 1980s for the Cookie Monster nightmare) Sesame Street Muppet segments.

We bought a VCR and a bunch of used children's VHS tapes from the 80s-90s and let the kiddo have that.

If that sounds like too much of a pain in the butt, may I suggest finding Unico/Black Jack on Amazon Prime and watchlisting a bunch of the old anime like that, Kimba the Lion, Astroboy, etc. (because it's free and super trippy).

I also recommend the following:

Animaniacs was made available for streaming a while back, although I don't know if it's still on there, or how badly they edited the original to cut out the 'no longer PC' parts.

Edit: I have no idea how you would get it, but I feel like Doug should get a mention too.
