What are the best character designs you’ve ever seen?

Baikinman from Anpanman is an amazing design, combining a fly with a devil is genius and it’s no wonder why other anime reference him so much.

Pinsir is my favorite Pokémon design, it’s simple yet effective and the perfect amount of anthropomorphic.

I'm gonna mix characters with design in general, since i can't remember much about the main word in question:

• Any main character of Yakuza franchise.
• The royal outfit of the Fire Nation (the uniforms Zuko & Azula use).
• The Blades Armor from Oblivion/Skyrim.
• The Ordinator armor from Morrowind.
• Any protagonist & Dracula's appearance with Death himself from Castlevania franchise.
• Probably near all the characters Capcom, Konami, SEGA & Nintendo created in the 80's.

Damn, i can't think of more.

It's better to do specific characters rather than artists, otherwise it will become Satoshi Urushihara cooming thread (not that it won't devolve to it anyways). So I'd choose one of the most well known game characters despite being on a rather unknown RPG series:
Kos Mos.

She has 3 variations throughout the series and an extra chocolate one. She just looks good with the pale blue hair and white clothing. There isn't a lot to say here.

For female coomers there's Dante (Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series)

He is just badass regardless of his bishonen, grown and boomer versions. You can't argue it and it doesn't try too hard to make that point.

Bonus:
Demi fiend from SMT3

A great combination of human and demon, creepy yet cool.
The three examples make me realize it's easy to say why something doesn't work but hard to do the opposite.

Real talk, Sonichu is a good design because he’s a fusion of two existing well-designed characters. If only he were properly drawn.

Shiny Pinsir is probably my favorite Gen 1 shiny. I love its design but I think the tannish brown of the base form is a bit boring, though understandable for a bug.

Does the Cacodemon from Doom count? It's one of the more iconic enemies, to the point it's become the pseudo-mascot.

Of course that's if you ignore the fact that it was "inspired" by this picture of an Astral Dreadnought from Dungeons & Dragons.

Still a cool look though.
