What are the standards for having something go into the community happenings alerts?

This has been the longest time I can remember that there was no update/anything posted on the community happenings tab when you first get here. What meets the standards for being news on that level?

They're all taken from the Community Driven Happenings Feed. The one rule is that your happening must link back to a post on the forum about said happening, like everyone in that thread does. If Null finds it interesting enough, he'll feature it.

If it's even the least bit interesting, just post it there. Even if it doesn't get featured, it's a nice way to bring in others to come laugh at whatever silly bullshit you found.
