What compels new users to TMI on the Farms?

We get a thread like this at least once a month: a user joins, asks to be friends or directly disobeys the forum rules in some way, starts sincerely answering questions when asked, always reveals their powerlevel, then either sticks around until a mod bans them or they cry and run away.

What causes this cycle? I think it's autsim + isolation, where one ends up craving attention but sucks at making friends so they get used to negative attention and post wherever to get it. Any thoughts or other theories?

Dude they're just trolling, can't believe you actually fall for that. Do you even know the first thing about trolling?
Please be patient I post on Kiwifarms

There was another person, a woman who tired to make a thread on a beautytuber but fucked up hard and then kept coming on and off to answer questions about herself, wish I bookmarked that shitshow.

That happens once or twice a month, you're gonna have to be more specific than that.

I honestly don't know if they're trolling or not. I've legit seen people do shit like this and overshare way too much, and just not know where to stop. They'll even make up more embaressing shit just to dodge one thing they don't want others to know about.

You might be right, but there's just as much a chance that for every 10 troll posts, one unironic tard is serious about it. They just keep sharing and sharing so that they act like they're not owned and so people will laugh - but they don't realize that nobody's laughing with them. They're either horrified, or laughing at them.

Either they're coming from mainstream social media, and don't realize that it's weird to be TMI here, or they have autism. Autistics have linear thinking and cannot detect sarcasm. If another user asks them a question mockingly, they are going to seriously answer it. Like when Chris admitted to "recycling" his cum because someone jokingly asked him if he thought that was gay.

Call it trolling, calling being unable to realize we mock TMI for a living on this site, call it being a fucking idiot who really should know when to keep their mouth shut trying to defend themselves in their own thread, fact is it usually boils down to one common thing- autism.

I'm also in the "they're coming from a website where that's more acceptable" or "they're too autistic to not" boat. KF is the only site I can think of where it's discouraged to overshare whether on accident or purpose because so many people nowadays are "It's okay! you're totally valid uwu" and just... let people treat the internet like a collective of armchair psychologists or their personal diary.

Part of it's trolling, though.

You know how dogs need to piss all over the place to make their presence known to other dogs? It’s like that

It takes a special kind of person to ignore all the warnings when you create an account on kiwifarms, answer the Alex Jones botcheck question and then expect a reasonable conversation among peers.

Every single person who isn't paranoid about oversharing at that point has such an excellent shield from receiving any advice that they're bound to be a delight to converse with.

These people are not retarded, they are beautiful. They believe in themselves. They are the brave, the beautiful, the exceptional.
