The family had a theme for me this year: kitchen stuff. Got a nice set of tart molds to try my hand at making French tarts. Some nice new mixing bowls, storage containers for my baking supplies, some new silicon baking mats. Got some gift cards and some cash, too. My daughter got me a bonus gift of a nice lap blanket so I can browse the farms on my laptop in toasty comfort.

I got an adjustable lamp that can clamp to the side of my drawing desk that also has an attachment for my cellphone, so I can make less crappy YouTube videos. I've been wanting to film myself drawing and make better-filmed comic reviews so it's pretty awesome. I also got some very cool art supplies, my parents also make art so they're good at picking out quality products.

I bought my mom a leather bound notebook made my a local artist, she really likes notebooks and writing with fountain pens. My dad was really into the machete I bought myself for my birthday so I bought him one to replace his 30+ year old thrashed-to-hell one. I got him the CT2 12'' sawback from Ontario Knife Company, it's a similar style to his old one but a little shorter. I couldn't find his old one to measure and make sure it was around the same size but he was happy with the shorter blade and very happy with how hefty it is.

That's actually really nice that you and your family all have adjacent interests like that. Being able to really know what to shop for when it comes to family has always been extremely difficult for me, and being tapped in like that is super cool to hear.
