Hoi4 stands for Hearts of Iron IV. Do you like it? Hate it? Or just think video games are gay in general?

What didn't you like about it?I think war games are for turbo autists to begin with. I tried Hoi4 but I got bored and stopped playing
Are there any other paradox titles you like? EU4, Vic 2, CK2, etcOversimplified, broken casual bullshit. I prefer HOI 3 a thousand times more. Hell, HOI3 had all the mechanics they now are slowly introducing in paid dlcs because fuck paradox
I play CK2 on occasion but it's too autistic for me to understandAre there any other paradox titles you like? EU4, Vic 2, CK2, etc
Yeah, same. The main paradox titles I play are Hoi4, Vic2, and rarely a bit of Eu4I play CK2 on occasion but it's too autistic for me to understand

Why's that?I think war games are for turbo autists to begin with.
Yes, those (well CK2 anyway) would give an impression of being more fit to be "turn-based". You should try HOI4/Vic2. I don't think you'd have the same issues. Some advice for Vic 2. Don't try to understand how the economy works. The devs don't understand it either. Try to not become communist or liberal, cause that tends to kill the economy. For Hoi4, do not click on the "tutorial" button. It's a trap meant to confuse you. It will teach you nothing good, and will just confuse you. Since Paradox cannot make decent tutorials (except in Vic 2) they attached a wiki article to most features.CK2 and an EU game.
I think the obsession with world war games some people have, has a lot of parallels to the interest autists have in planes and trains (ie tanks, war planes, guns). Being a world war enthusiast just seems so boring, I think the autists that hyper focus on other historical eras have a lot more interesting things going for themHoi 4: 4th planet of the Hoi system.
Why's that?
How is focusing on, say for example, Victorian era different than focusing on WW2/WW1?I think the autists that hyper focus on other historical eras have a lot more interesting things going for them
I take it a war game like HOI4 is much more complex with military stuff than a game like the Civilization games?world war games
