What do you consider culinary sins? - No goyslop sperging

Using the wrong knife during food preparation. Calling a chef's knife a french knife.

Wagyu sliders. They taste just like a normal burger so why even bother? It's just the new and popular high-margin item for restaurants. See also: flatbread.

Starbucks burnt-ass coffee. I swear people worship that tripe when almost every other coffee is better.

Seafood and cheese combination has to be high up there.

Otherwise, I am not sure. I guess the most elementary shit being overlooked:

  • Not letting meat rest
  • Putting meat in a cold pan
  • Putting pasta or rice in non boiling water
  • Adding more salt or pepper without tasting

All these little things that ruin the dish but are so easy to avoid really piss me off. I understand not being a chef, but not putting minimal effort is beyond me.

It really is awful. I don't get why anyone likes it. I guess because most people are buying those iced sugar bombs with a dash of coffee they can't even taste. That's how Starbucks actually makes money. Promoting diabetes and rotting teeth.

(Full disclosure, I once made a variant of these using sweet chili gushers and a teriyaki style meatball. 0/10 completely haram )

I know enough people that buy the beans then use a normal person amount of sugar and cream. Swear it's a gourmet coffee. Insert Pulp Fiction picture here.
My brother in Christ, I beg of you to try aged swiss.
I like habanero or ghost-pepper jack. Even a regular cheddar is better than American.
