Being able to swap features in and out is nice.
A big reason why I like WoD and Vampire the Masquerade specifically is how much it focuses on it's skill system. Like everything in that game is a skill, including combat actions. But you can also have skills for just about everything, like from training birds to debate. It has so many ways you can perfectly tailor a character to the utmost detail.
