What do you think is a good replacement for the word "woke"?

I've recently realized that the word woke as a political term has lost its original effect, and how using it simply makes you a laughingstock. So I was thinking: what word or term could we use to replace woke and make it fresh again, make it so that people actually listen and pay attention to us? I want to hear your thoughts.

I still like the term "woke" depending on what it refers to, the fact that it's kind of a hokey word fits well with the performative corporatized, bastardized progressive agenda it refers to. It should be a trite and clownish word because it refers to a trite and clownish concept.

The problem I'd imagine is that half the time the people using the term "woke" don't even really know what they're referring to, it's just a catch all buzzword for anyone on the opposite side of the cultural divide.

That was precisely why the term was so effective. The Woke had invented the term for themselves (or culturally appropriated it from hip-hop, if you prefer) in their own self-importance, and so throwing it back at them, while they were locked in the stocks as we pointed and laughed, inflicted a deep narcissistic injury.

Wait, are you Woke? Concupiscence for attention and for being consulted is why wokery backfired. I suppose you could get very precise, very academic, with an -ing word followed by an -ist word, but it just wouldn't have the same rhetorical weight.

It's gonna happen organically. It always does.
This.

Leftist swine is one of my favorites. Also leftist scum, leftist pigs.
Cultural Marxists
Social Justice Warriors predated woke by a few years.
Self-hating whites for the fifth column of privileged leftist shots who do what they do.

Ah ok. I actually didn't know the true origins of the word and I just thought it was dumb.

Serious answer? Successor Ideology was the term Wesley Yang came up with for it and I think it describes it well.

"Successor ideology" is a term coined by essayist Wesley Yang to describe an emergent ideology within left-wing political movements in the United States centered around intersectionality, social justice, identity politics, and anti-racism, which is supposedly replacing conventional liberal values of pluralism, freedom of speech, color blindness, and free inquiry.[1][2][3] Proponents of the concept link it to an alleged growth in the intolerance of differing opinions, to cancel culture, "wokeness," "social justice warriors", and to the far left;[4][5][6] Yang himself describes it bluntly as "authoritarian Utopianism that masquerades as liberal humanism while usurping it from within."

I hate the term the way I hate the term modernism to explain en epoch that will at some point in time (as in right now) not be modern anymore. (Or the way Weapon systems named "Future Weapon System XYZ" make me cringe). What will succeed successor ideology? Successor successor ideology?
But I love the description.

'Progressive' is already used that way by any leftists who don't want to sound like cringey tiktok zoomers.
