I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as pedophilia, is in fact, hebephilia, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, ephebophilia. Pedophilia is not merely the attraction to anyone under 18, but rather a totally separate disorder (not a legal term) listed as a sexual-psychological disorder categorized under paraphilias, a group of sexual-psychological disorders in the DSM-IV and considered a disorder under the standards of the American Psychological Association. Many people could be considered ephebophiles despite the fact that they themselves may not know the term, much less what it means. Through a peculiar turn of events, ephebophilia and hebephilia became grouped under the very general and inconclusive cultural term "pedophilia," and the majority of people using the term are unaware that they are referring to non-paraphilic sexual preferences that are unmentioned in the DSM-IV and occur relatively harmlessly in a great deal of the population. There really is a pedophilia, and these people may be referring to it, but nevertheless it is a small part of what is labeled under "pedophilia." Pedophilia is labeled as a paraphilia because it is by nature unhealthy. Paraphilias are all unhealthy and destructive to relationships, but are restricted to the definitions set forth in the DSM. Pedophilia is simply grouped with the non pathologized conditions of hebephilia and hebephilia because they share a few similar traits. In reality, pedophilia separate from both and should be treated as such, and many people described as pedophiles would be better described as hebephiles or ephebophiles.

It's still coercion, children shouldn't know about that stuff at that age, I never knew about that when I was a kid. Boys had a wee man, girls had a flower that was that, and nothing else was said. If the child consents then it's still coercion and I hate that, all that shit is being pushed with sexualizing children. It sickens me, to the point I feel I feel nauseous that this is happening in our day and age,.. I've had a few drinks give me MATI if theyre there

Are you wiling to fuck a goat if said goat consent? Probably not. That is gross. Even if the child consent, that is gross and you should pray for your soul.

Consents to what? Below the age of 14, a female is not emotionally developed well enough to be trusted to make an informed decision about having sex without getting an STD or pregnant . At 16 they're getting there. If you study the age of consent around the world, you'll see that the majority of the world's population lives in countries that have the AOC set between 14 and 16 and those that are set at 18 have a variety of exceptions allowing for it back down to as low as 12. Several countries set at 18, allow for sex with minor boys. I think Nigerian law has circumstances defined that allow for down to 9, which is the reason stupid people think I want to lower the age of consent 9. Traditional cultures need to be taken into consideration in this argument. My position is that the age of unconditional consent should be 16, allowing exceptions for family arranged marriages of minors to men no more than twice their age.

I'll let somebody else argue with the floor should be 9 or 12 that's much better read on the subject of tribal marriage contracts. I just know the traditions of my ancestors and Sholom Aleichem presented that to the world in Fiddler on the Roof. Parents married their older daughters off to wealthy widowers a lot. Trafficking needs to be monitored especially closely on this because families in the orient sell their excess daughters to the traffickers. I think the way around that , to protect the bride, is to require the groom's parent's signature blessing the union. I don't think recreational sex should be legalized between adult men and minors, but i do think exceptions for ancient cultures to be able to carry on their mating traditions. Same thing with male circumcision and possibly female too, after listening to a young African mother talk about herself and her daughter. I think these sorts of things should be left alone by cultures who don't practice those things.

The rule of thumb among my people , is that the man should no more than twice the age of the minor female, which is why i never gave it a second thought back then and nobody will ever make me feel shame about it now. i wasn't more than twice her age and she had been living with a man a few years younger than me for over a year.
