What is life in the pods like?

I know "live in the pod" is a meme and pictures have some pretty grim-looking bunkbeds that look like summer camp cabins, but I can't fathom how the "communities" work.

- The people who rent them are usually degenerate "tech" lefties, yet there's no place on the beds to have sex or even sleep with a partner.
- There's a common sink and microwave area. Without a "den mother" or a dedicated cleaning crew there's no way that stays clean.
- The shills stopped talking about pods when the 'rona hit, but how do they quarantine?

The entire idea of living in a pod is stupid and anti-human. I'd imagine in such a space, there would be no room for privacy and thus no room for muh quarantine. Laugh at and ridicule podfags whenever possible, as even a low-IQ spud can see why a pod is an awful idea.

I imagine that the real pods will be the living conditions we see class 4 security guard Stanley Tweedle in on the Cluster in Lexx.

i think theyd have individual cells with only a toilet, a sink, a shower, a TV and a bed, all built into the room itself
theyd probably give out food and soap through a flap in the door
as for outside the cells i think the compounds will be like work camps but incentivize work through useless plastic coins or person-specific "balances" that can be used for rations
