What is the game that made you rage the most? - Autistic screeching at vidya

Solution
Nethack for being such a piece of fucking shit, the game is purely fucking luck based garbage that ive played for years and never beaten. Its one of the greatest of all time but god fucking damn getting deep into a dungeon only to be savagely cucked to death is the most infuriating shit ever
raging at video games is very childish.
the only game that made me feel close to raging was mass effect 3, and it was less about the anti-climatic ending and more to do with the whole "all the choice in the previous games will have an impact on this one" line which was total nonsense. the only thing that got changed was a few lines of dialogue. it was total marketing horse manure. plus the rest of the game wasnt very good and i felt let down by a series which i really liked and had so much potential. the first one was so good(minus the over use of the mako) and that cliff hanger ending of it jsut left so much room and hype for potenital out of the sequels.

pretty cliche, but dark souls 3. its the only one in the series that iv'e played.
average play session was max 1 hr and one id quit for the day and forgotten about it for a week, id come back and remember nothing and be up against whatever stopped my progress last time making it very hard to get going again,
50 hours and i only got to pontiff Sullivan, will probably never play again

Edit: i didnt get mad, just frusterated.

New Londo Ruins in DS1 made me wanna burn someone's house down.

No lie: the CD-I Zelda games.
Mostly because my dad never upgraded the controller from this:

Imagine trying to play an adventure platforming game with this shit.
I still managed to beat them eventually, though.

Mortal Kombat for the PS3 I forgot what number it was , but I always got stuck on the final boss (fuck shao khan spammy mf) had to get a buddy to pass it for me because I didn't want to deal with the unskippable cut scenes anymore . 😤

PC -- Everquest 2, zones Guk 1, 2, and 3. Whoever designed those three maps should've been executed for crimes against humanity. Bonus misery because they were bugged for multiple years, and many of the bosses would glitch and spam their armor and resist-bypassing special attacks for multiple hits per second. Also, most of the enemies were goddamn frogmen, and that shit is gay.

Console -- Shinobi (2002) for the Playstation 2. It's a tie between the Blind Ninja boss and the endboss. The former requires you to only move via wall runs -- if you touch the water, it splashes and he'll instantly launch himself at you. The latter was an utterly disgusting jumping puzzle disguised as a fight. Pretty sure I could've inspired a new Exorcist movie by virtue of the Satanic blasphemies that I spewed while beating that game.

Oh my god. You just gave me flashbacks to Shao Khan in MKIII back on the Genesis. Yes, fuck that spammy asshole, I don't think he's ever been fun to fight.

Elden Ring, Tetris, DnD, Sims loading screens, classic zoo tycoon guests Monopoly, installing things, I'll have a good angry sperg at most any game that doesn't do what I want when I want.

I'm no dry wall puncher or controller thrower but I'm not above a good rage rant.

I do let fly with the expletives on occasion, the last time was when I was trying to beat Zangetsu in Bloodstained, I believe I called him a 'cheating solid snake voiced piece of motherfucking shit'...quite loudly...then I tried again and did it.

Resistance 2 is a hateful game. Despite ostensibly being a super-soldier with regenerating health, you have an absolutely miniscule healthbar. You'll die without warning from bullshit even on Normal difficulty, like those invisible one-hit-kill stalker enemies, the big assholes with the guns that can shoot through walls, or that incredibly annoying bug-swarm boss. Probably the most trial-and-error FPS I've ever played, and therefore the game that made me rage the most.

Eh I think the most i've ever raged was in Final Fantasy XIV learning runs with retards who don't put any effort in. Not the game's fault, of course, just the game's design which limits personal progression based on the quick-shifting moods and work ethics of others.

I don't think i've ever been truly frustrated with a video game otherwise. Shit happens.

I remember getting frustrated at Ys 1 or 2, I can't remember exactly but it was the final boss. What you need to know is that in those games to attack you ram into people, not head on but slightly to either side or from their other sides. Now, imagine fighting a boss, who's attacks you have to dodge, while the arena crumbles away at your feet in random spots, and the boss is unaffected by the sudden lack of ground who has to be rammed into for damage. Absolutely frustrating.

I did beat it eventually due to sheer luck.
