For the top two search engines, loli is significantly filtered, while shota gets a free pass. Also, obligatory to mention that Yandex is superior in this regard.

It's a legitimate Japanese guy's first name. It just means "little boy" in Japanese.

source: my neighbour in university residence was a 6' linebacker of a Japanese exchange student named Shota
It can mean several things as a name, depending on the kanji used.

At any rate, you hate your child if you name them "Shota". Or maybe you forgot to give them an actual name on your way out of the labor unit and they had to put some name on the insurance application.

Lolita is also a name
The book SPAM Nation by Brian Krebs noted at one point that female CP was known as "lolita," but male CP was known as "strawberry" rather than shota. The difference in terms makes me wonder if the filtering is due to what search terms people type in when hunting for CP.

It was a side note since the book mostly concerned the author's research on pharmaceutical email spam and how it made money (counterfeit pills drop-shipped from manufacturers in India) and while he tried to obtain information on the kiddie porn economy, he was less successful at that than he was at deconstructing the viagra spam economy. That was in huge part because the viagra spam economy included shady payment processing companies owned by insane Russians who tried to sabotage each other by hacking each other's databases and leaking all the customer and merchant information to him.
