What is this phenotype and why does it seem to be correlated to having some form of mental deficiency?

I saw this image of the weird schizo shaman that threw something through boogie's window and his face looks really similar to a few other retards I've seen throughout the years. The ones that came to mind were the parkland shooter and robert but I've also definitely seen it in several people IRL.

So it got me thinking, is this something akin to fetal alcohol syndrome that causes similar faces to develop due to an actual disorder or am I just being as much of a schizo as flaming star? There are definitely more examples of this than these three but none are coming to mind right now, I am curious to see if anyone else has noticed this in other people.

High fWHR, and corresponding high natal testosterone levels, a.k.a. "Caveman Head". In addition, they all do look a little Fetal Alcohol-ish, on top of high natal T. Not a good combo. Makes for a properly aggressive retard.


Recently, the facial width-to-height ratio (fWHR: bizygomatic width divided by upper-face height; see Fig. 1) has been identified as a facial metric with links to a range of behavioural traits in men. fWHR has been shown to predict aggression (Carré & McCormick, 2008; but see Deaner et al., 2012, Özener, 2012), deception (Haselhuhn & Wong, 2012), and untrustworthiness (Stirrat & Perrett, 2010), but also more positive behaviours such as achievement striving (Lewis, Lefevre, & Bates, 2012) and self-sacrifice towards the in-group (Stirrat & Perrett, 2012). Moreover, several studies have demonstrated that individuals are able to discern other individuals’ tendency to aggression (Carré, McCormick, & Mondloch, 2009) and trustworthiness (Stirrat & Perrett, 2010) from fWHR. While this research indicates that the face and, in particular, fWHR act as a cue to behaviour, it is currently unclear what constitutes the physiological mechanisms underlying this anatomy–behaviour association. Here, in two samples, we examine whether levels of baseline and reactive testosterone are associated with fWHR. We also investigate the association of testosterone with three well-characterised sexually dimorphic facial metrics; namely, 1) lower-face to whole-face-height, 2) cheekbone prominence, and 3) face-width to lower-face-height (see Fig. 1 and Lefevre et al., 2012, Penton-Voak et al., 2001), alongside a global morphometric measure of facial masculinity (Pound, Penton-Voak, & Surridge, 2009).

One of the common denominators is that they're all white trash and FAS was the first thing I thought of but unlike our dear leader, the tell signs (eyes, upper lip, nose) are relatively minor (though still present).

I do think there's something else there, like the tiniest hint of microcephaly maybe added to the cocktail of natal defects.

From memory Nick Cruz's defense tried to argue that his mother using drugs with him in the womb caused him to not be able to tell right from wrong. I can't really directly reference the people in real life I've met with the same face but one of them is a serial shop lifter and drug addict but the other is pretty normal. The former of which looks extremely similar to Cruz - I think he's the best example of the face I mean.

The phenotype is "mutt".

When procreating intra-ethnicity, you build further on a chain of thousands of years of selection, and the worst of the defect gene combinations have already been bred out.
Mixing between ethnicities does not have that advantage (depending on how recent the ethnogenesis/ genetic distance between ethnicities is) and leads to people who are simply confused on a genetic level. Everything else is downstream from that, so you get uncanny-looking, aggressive-acting retards.

There's also a distinct tard voice, I always assumed it's because polite society treats tards more like dogs than people, so they end up in a narrow bubble of special ed and social workers and develop a peculiar accent and other subcultural traits. Wouldn't explain the faces though!

My background is basically genetics and development. The face develops along with the brain, and the face overlies the brain. You get a HUGE amount of interaction between ‘various stuff’ and facial development and humans are great at pattern recognition with faces. So you end up with a sense that something is off with a lot of people and often it is.

There’s a machine learning program called Face 2 gene which is great - you can put a face in and it’ll tell you which syndromes it matches most. It’s very accurate. But old school geneticists are pretty damn good at it too. A lot of stuff shows in the face.
Don’t forget that FAS is the extreme end of foetal alcohol spectrum disorders - which affect far more kids than anyone is comfortable saying . Probably a few percent in the west, more in places that drink heavily. In short no you’re right, you can look at faces and see something’s wrong and very often you can tell WHAT is wrong too
