That really doesn't seem like the best response though, there shouldn't be vigilante nerd beatings. That could cause collateral damage to property or to innocent non-nerds. It's not 1900 anymore, we need solutions adapted for the modern man.

What realistically needs to happen is that communities across the country need to create volunteer bullying squads: they're like volunteer firefighters but instead of being trained to put out fires, they're trained to identify locations with developing high lameness density then enter to safely and effectively make weenies cry.

If we could get localities on board (maybe start up a mailing campaign) then that would be an excellent investment in society's future.
