Since I was thinking about upgrading my old ass 10yo lg hd ready tv(have been stuck on it, since my 1080p one, died last year), It would be interesting to know what you're currently using, so maybe I can get an idea as to what I could buy.

Samsung curved 24"

It's relatively cheap, works wonderful, and if you got the money to spare, up to 3 of those and you can still sit at the same distance you would if you had a 19" flat (I've stop using TVs long time ago)

Yeah but I sit roughly 1.5 mters away from my tv, so I need at least a 32.
Actually no, I wanna at least a 42 now, since my current one is 32.
Have to decide whether buying 4k is worth it, for future proofing or go 1080p again.

For what I've seen everything available today at 4k is shit, can't tell the future, but here's a cheap one if you wanna try 4k bs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MYGISTO (this one looks like shit tbh but hey, less than $400).

If you're still on the ride and that shit doesn't cut it get a Samsung plasma, the place I used to work had 10 LCDs 42" and 4 plasma on the waiting room and halls for years, the plasma hands down looked better to me (fluid image and whatnot), but the LCDs were brighter.

I had a panasonic plasma, they are better than samsung ones.
Is someone still making plasmas in 2018 though?

Shit I forgot about that tinny little detail lol.

You're gonna have to head to some review sites to decide mate unless someone else drop a line here, plasma was my last experience with TVs at all.

I dont really expect someone to drop tbat kind of knowledge here.
I was just curious about what kind of screen kiwis do play on.

I bought one of those and it crapped out on me twice. I think something was leaking on the inside and it killed half the pixels on the screen. I RMA'd it but it happened again and I just sold it for 40 bucks on ebay or something. I like a monitor that can take some abuse so I'm just using my old dell 1080p screen. Would like to get another one with one of those multi armed monitor holders.

I've got a nice 32 inch Insignia flatscreen TV to play HD games on and I got a cheap Sylvania CRT TV from like 10 years ago that I got from Goodwill for $8 to play older systems like my PS2 and SNES. I got kinda autistic with how the game feels after I realized how much the flatscreen was affecting my skill with older video games.

10-year old 26" 720p Toshiba LCD TV. It's as big as it needs to be for the cramped space it's in.

I did recently get a 1990s Radio Shack "Realistic" brand ~6" portable colour TV for playing Genesis and Super Nintendo games on a proper CRT.
