What subject were you bad at in school but have become more interested in as you get older?

I sucked at maths, even had to take remedial maths classes I was that bad. Really think it was a combo of not applying myself and my low attention span as a teenager. I find myself much more interested in mathmatics as I've gotten older and actually find activities in my daily life that require it, such as budgeting, investing, meal prepping and so on to be much more engaging than I ever thought they'd be.

History. I just wasn't that interested in what happened a long time ago. I thought it didn't have much bearing on my life then and wouldn't in the future. As I've gotten older and can see first hand how there are patterns and cycles in human civilization, I realize how valuable it is to know and understand what really happened in the past. I've also discovered that the past isn't as black and white as you might think -- there are lots of morally gray areas -- and that sometimes there have been out and out lies about what happened. History is written by the victors after all.

Chemistry. I was bummed out by so much math but had this instructor that would help us see the logic behind the math. For instance, we studied bases and acids and you could start out with a slightly stronger acid and weak base and figure out (with given M and Ka/Kb) which would turn the reaction in their favor in terms of pH level. Sometimes you think your weak base is beat by a strong acid but it can surprise you in the end. Looking forward to orgo chem next.

when i was a kid i never liked to practice playing music or whatever but as i have gotten older i find that i want to learn how to fart Mozart's String Serenade No. 13

A lot of sciences. I sucked at math, chemistry, and physics (not helped by teachers who probably failed those subjects themselves), though as of late I've become fascinated with them again. Lately I've been trying to teach myself chemistry, and it's remarkable how the intuition I've gained from working in a technical field really helps my ability to understand the subject matter in a way that I just didn't have back in high school.

English. I used to read summaries online because I couldn't be bothered to actually read some of the books we were supposed to be analysing. But as I got older and wasn't really forced to read them I could gain a greater appreciation for them.

I hated math. I had to do summer school in second grade because I failed math so hard. I couldn't do the multiplication tables. And while I never learned to love math I grew to appreciate it even though no matter what I do I never git gud.

I had tutoring several times a week plus I studied my ass off in the library and at home for hours almost every day. And I still did poorly. It really upset me. I'm really good at other subjects, especially when it comes to writing papers. But give me an equation and my head explodes.

English, I was bad at it then. Now I think it would be for the better, that English was the only language in the world. Would be much less hassle with communicating overall.
