So is India too. I think we should honestly just make partners in SE and South Asia since it's kinda clear China is no ally of ours. What is happening now cannot possibly be memoryholed, this has affected pretty much everyone in some degree, even if the majority of people out there are only affected in the way of "Oh no! I can't get the luxury items that I personally want from the store every day, this is impacting me so badly guise!"
If anything, the average person will just have another reason to distrust China more. There was never any love there to begin with, the moment your average person finds out about gutter oil, the act of torturing dogs before eating them and all other sorts of nasty shit that you see coming out of that dire place, they instantly have this hateboner for China, even if it's draped neatly under the fabric of political correctness....
Thing is, that big boner of moral outrage isn't being hidden very well now. There will always be the type who will bend under the pressure and fear of being labeled a racist but for the most part, I think people are going to remember that Coronachan did in fact come from China.

Whether or not anything will be done about it after the fact is unknown, I can already tell that a lot of people are going to get on their moral high horses and state that "China suffered first! I think personally, there'll be little push for any reparations despite how people are feeling, if anything, Trump might say he'll look for reparations and go on another spiel about how bad China is but nothing will be done. China won't give a penny for this. The most you'll see is articles about China crying crocodile tears and some news pieces about how Asians are being persecuted in America even in 2025 because of what happened in 2020.

Why do I feel if something did happen (WHICH IT WON'T, BTW!), only the following comes out of it?

1) Worldwide Recession/Depression, which leads to (2), (3), (4), or a combination of these things in no particular order:

2) Dystopia ruled by China --> Rebellion eventually happens to fight this, but not fast enough; expect much tribulation / life getting worse for you if you ain't high-functioning Middle Class (as in, actually close to being rich) / motherfucking rich, period.

3) World War III --> You can select who is on whose side yourself; just know that China will be the greatest enemy of them all.

4) Anarchy and/or Civil Wars everywhere against Chinese sympathizers / anything else ailing the people in general, including in the US (if things get bad enough, this isn't something to rule out, unfortunately.).

Or, for something that won't turn the world into some dystopia YA novel (SJW)BS...

(5) Public pressure to push China to pay for this heinous act of getting everyone sick off of something with no true cure just yet for the epidemic THEY caused, which would be a wonderful step in the right direction to put pressure on China for everything bad they do to everyone, especially their own goddamn people, not just our businesses they've ruined worldwide?

The first 4 are wishful thinking for obvious survivalist nutcases, warmongers, religious-obsessed idiots, etc., hence things that better not happen while I'm still breathing, thank you very much.
