What would be your ideal government policy on drugs?

  • 🚨 Networking issue that cannot be addressed until later today.
unironically death to drug dealers and smugglers. drug users should be forced to go to rehab. repeat offenders should be treated like drug dealers. can you imagine how much nicer things would be if our streets weren't clogged with druggie homeless people? you know how much crime would go down if drug gangs were just shot and drug users were forced to clean up or face the wall? how much money we could save by not jailing drug dealers, drug gangs, and drug users? bullets are pretty cheap in bulk. society would be so much nicer without drug dealers and drug users.

No point in having a comprehensive drug policy if the police are defunded or abolished, and/or the courts refuse to prosecute anything.

NYC is a hotbed of crime for these reasons and more.

Legalize all drugs, trafficking remains illegal and dealing over a certain amount over 3.5g for more than just friends. Prohibition only ended when the state took control over alcohol same will need to be done to reduce profitability of illegal drug trade. Unironically a cartel swap to government like alcohol. But I doubt we will see it as its more profitable to say you're going to fix the issue than doing so.

Kill anyone directly or indirectly involved with drug cartels, then legalize all drugs. Contradictory? Not really. People should have the freedom to consume any substance they desire. However, we must not allow those who use violence, coercion, child labor and other damaging activities on their trade to stay unpunished, much less reward them by legalizing drugs while they are still around, because that would give them an unfair advantage over honest dealers.

None, because it wouldn't be a problem.
we don't live in an ideal world though so I think repatriation is fair.

I would stop the government from trafficking it. After having been to dozens of rich and poor countries, the only thing that sets their drug scenes apart from america is how easy it is to find drugs here. Ate dinner with a group of italians who were shocked and amazed that americans can readily find coke, molly, LSD, heroin, meth, and pretty much any substance of your choice on tap. While in italy it was rare for even this group to have smoked weed. People play the poverty and abuse angle but thailand and vietnam have a boatload of poverty and abuse and not nearly the same level of druggies roaming the streets.

My conclusion is the government moves most ofit and the problem sorts itself out if it stopped.

Total ban. Misdemeanor for use/buying, and life sentences for dealers of anything harder than weed/pills. Problem solved.

I have a fairly liberal opinion on this mixed with a policy to make Shang Yang Proud.

Usually I think the public is best served by offenders being offered outpatient rehab as long as they can show family support for their housing and personal upkeep during that time. If they have the means to pay for this rehab themselves, then that's part of any restitution that should be made but if they're broke but have someone in their family letting them sleep on a couch then the state can subsidize the cost. If there isn't any family support, then an in-patient intensive rehab for first time offenders with felony convictions for all repeat offenders for periods of at least five years.

However, that's for someone caught with one drug in their possession. Anyone with two or more substances that can get you hooked for a public intoxication charge would be immediate execution. If you're the type to double your pleasure, double your fun, by mixing opiates and other sedatives, or alcohol and cocaine, or any of the other myriad combinations then we're all better off without you.

Naturally, this will lead to the knock-on benefit of executing millions of niggers, who never just do drugs but indulge in five course drug buffets before retiring to the alleyway for brandy and cigars dipped in formadelhyde while the ladies adjourn for purple drank in the OTB parking lot.

We should like totally make the big corporations pay more taxes and regular people pay like less taxes you know man.

Also like if you're in the army or whatever then you have to match in the Pride parade like in uniform because the military is totally gay man.
