Bring lots of books too and practice IT skills while I'm alone. Most IT things I've learned from coding to cyber sec have been from a book, oddly enough. I would focus on solo survival though, and hopefully be able to get a good small farm going on my own. Learn agriculture.

I'd probably buy an island compound. Normal rich people buy dumb stuff like pools and tennis courts but I'd have shit like wood/metal workshops, chem labs, a music hall, a greenhouse, a place for skeet shooting that looked out over the water, a pier for fishing, stuff like that, and not only would I use it all, but people who don't suck could have a place to come and not be bound by the constraints of not having the facilities or materials to make what they wanted or develop their skills.

Basically the things those with the desire would already have access to if all the "educational" institutions in the modern world didn't serve exclusively as parasitic social gatekeepers.

One thing I always thought about doing ever since I was a little kid was that if I ever won the lottery big time I would like to pick a person at random and give them a bunch of money just to see how they’d react. Someone like, I dunno, a Walmart greeter and for no particular reason. I’d just like to see the shock and joy on their face as they realize their life has been changed and not because they were special but just because they happened to be there and I happened to pick them from the rest of the unwashed masses. I believe in something like that more than I believe in giving to a charity. I don’t trust charities, never have.
