You forgot one very important thing. Do cardio. Most people don’t do cardio, even people who work out.

I do 80 minutes of hard cardio per week and can run farther than 90% of the population on that little amount of practice. Pathetic tbh.

That's what I did much of my adult life. Having gotten long out of that habit it's really hard to go back to it.

I worked out intensively for a while before a weird injury, and it was just boring. Sure, numbers go up, but so do your running stats. Or your cycling distance. Or any other measure of "actual useful" gains from cardio. Go out, run, choke on insects and see your surroundings. My dad knows basically most of the country from driving it flat on his motorbike. I know most of my immediate surroundings from biking. Fuck, go swim. No kid would pass up the change to bike or swim and yet adults rather drive to a warm gym to lift weights for an hour and feel like they're totally cool and validated, while the "skinny balding CEO" can run a marathon.

I remember reading a comment on a stretching video from a senior saying she begun training getting off the floor. Imagine having fallen that low, or worse, not doing something about it.

The reason adults feel like life moves along at twice the speed is because they stop challenging themselves. Kids are forced to do so much shit while adults can indulge willynilly. That's initially why I started fasting; to try something difficult. I already did a 1500 kcal dieting for a few months, losing 30 pounds, so my relationship with food is already stunted.

Fasting is easy cause it's well befit depressed kids waking up at 11am and dads who hate eating and drink black coffee which doesn't break fast. I also hate having to shop for breakfast with 5 different things expiring at random dates and having to asymmetrically restock. I live alone and 100% break my fasting when I'm on holiday or with other people, but if it was part of my daily life to watch other people eat, I'd probably be used to it just fine. I enjoy waking up and feeling light and not heated up by digestion all morning.

Apparently the circadian rhythm is part of our organs too, not just sleep. They regulate you during the night when you aren't supposed to eat, whereas eating 8:30pm and 6:30am completely stunt it. Your body literally stocks and readies energy as you wake up and then you go "Nah we need more" and add food to it. You can literally eat WORSE than you do now, as long as it's in a fasting window.

I've wanted to try longer fasting every now and then to challenge myself, but fasting every day by default it doesn't seem very beneficial. I've read of a lot of people fasting 24 hours once a week rather than every day and it just doesn't fit me. I have a coworker who won't shut the fuck up about his fasting, never breaking it even for holiday lunches and it's so obnoxious. You can break your weekly fast 2-3 times a day (ie. the weekends) and it won't affect you negatively at all.

People think the law is the law and that's all there is too it. Many law enforcement officers have extremely different policies and procedures based on personal judgement and even more so dept policy and dept training. Many are frankly ignorant of lesser known case law pertaining to things that are rare but happen in real life situations. If I'm not mistaken the supreme court has ruled law enforcement has no direct duty to preserve life, only to enforce the law and order.

The TOS in your phone and apps when actually read are fucking ridiculous. They are basically key loggers/audio recording devices feeding data to people buying ad space.

When you think about it the transgender fad is incredibly reminiscent of the opiate crisis from about 2 decades ago. Create lifelong patients who can't even get away from the medical choices they've made. Drs heavily advocating for a "treatment" you can't just stop without life altering repercussions. There's not such thing as gluing your dick back on and there's no such thing as simply quitting an powerful daily opiate habit whether it was approved by a medical Dr or not.
