The cheapest way to get drunk (unless you have access to a bunch of free fruit) is to wait until dandelion season, pick a bunch of dandelions, take the petals out of them and boil them, take the juice from that and put it into a container with some sugar and a packet of wine yeast, then wait for a couple weeks.

Otherwise there's some absolute dog-water rum you can usually get for ~$9 a handle on sale.

My friends would always get Burnett’s flavored vodka for around $7-$8 a bottle. Shit tasted absolutely vile and I’m pretty sure is why I don’t like vodka to this day. Hands down the worst hard liquor I’ve ever had.

Kentucky Gentleman bourbon is I think what I determined to be the best price.
But now when I get drunk I try to do so more moderately, the cheapest way being a 750 ml Oak Leaf bottle of wine (which is equivalent to drinking a six-pack). But even that was a big bummer the last time I did it, felt wracked with gas the next day, and just generally tired of drinking again and again.

Edit: I'm like a goldfish with alcohol, if I have it in my apartment I will drink it all very rapidly. I tried total abstinence then tried buying smaller quantities at a time, and waiting before getting them. That's been a half-success but I'm going back to total abstinence again. I don't even like drinking anymore.

If Washington didn't triple dip on sales tax for fucking liquor, 1.75Ls of Everclear 190 would be the cheapest way since you just dilute it and it still gets you just as drunk, but functionally for 3x or so longer than if you bought a regular 1.75. You're paying for water with a lot of booze.

Probably aguardiente, Anis or cocuy of very low quality (its kinda like tequila).

This is a hood nigger classic. Favela royalty drink this

Rum is pretty cheap though and its great quality rum, so even if its not the cheapest thing is the best in terms of quality-price ratio.

Ron Superior is pretty decent and its like 4$. A little fancier and you get the plain Cacique for maybe 8 bucks.

Goon. 30 standard drinks for around 10 dollarydoos. (A)

Translated into Amerimutt, that's around 7 freedom bux for just over a gallon of 9.5% ABV (19 proof) wine-based beverage that tastes like sugary petrol.
Sir, do not cite the deep lore to us Amerimutts. We are the authors...

If you're talking $/oz of ethanol you cannot do better at standard pricing in the US if you're legally buying from stores. Winefags might have heard of a Brut, allow me to show you a Brute:

You get cases of everclear and/or vodka and your mixer is the cheapest punch you can find in jugs like this:

The only way to really go cheaper is if you know decent moonshiners.

A pint and a soda was $5. Now that same pint & soda is $10. I voted "no" for this bullshit.

€3.50 for 5 litres of perfectly drinkable red or white wine, direct from the many wine-makers who have in house shops.

Let's see.
Absolute cheapest way would be making sugar wine, which is essentially turbo yeast, sugar and water left to ferment. Home made wines also go into this category.
Cheapest eurolagers will go around one euro per 0,33l can, containing roughly 4,5% alcohol. So getting drunk with them is anywhere between 12 - 20 euros depending on how big of a boy you are. Cheaper liqueurs go for around 10 euros for 0,75 litres, and litre of cheap rotgut vodka costs you around 25 - 30 euros at least.
