What's the minimum age for a lolcow?

Because people act differently as they age, I've been wondering, how old must someone be in order to be considered lolcow material?

I think by like 16 you should realize certain behaviours on the internet get you laughed at. Though true lolcows carry on doing that shit well past their 20s.

It depends, really. The youngest "lolcow" I think we've had was Sammy, and he was maybe 13 when he came to our attention. But he grew out of it, so I'd say 16-17 is a good baseline.

As far as the internet's concerned, stupid people regardless of age get laughed at. For a lolcow specifically, around 18 is where you really start to look ridiculous. I can excuse someone who was Sammy's age, especially since he grew out of it.

Additionally, I think KF locks the minimum age for a thread at 18 for legal reasons.

I agree with the age 18 limit. Not only do people change greatly throughout their formative years and teens, but the added attention of being deemed a lolcow could lead to legally sketchy situations for a minor and any possible weens involved.

16 seems to be when the potential lolcows make themselves known so it's understandable to want to get on them early but for legal reasons it's best to stay 18+. Monitoring a lolcalf to see if this is "just a phase" is acceptable just don't be creepy.

I'd say 18. maybe 21 at the latest, as your mind doesn't stop growing and maturing until your early-to-mid twenties.

Many people in their late teens to early twenties still act like teenagers and it's not that uncommon. But I'd say 18 should be the absolute minimum age to be considered a lolcow.

If you don't grow out of lolcow behaviors by the time you're 25, then you're fucked and there's little hope for you.
