I'm not asking about your alarm clock or your mum either.

What makes you get up and do whatever you do every single day? What's keeping you from simply sleeping in? What motivates you?

Genuinely looking forward to everyone's answers, serious or not.

I got a lot of nephews and nieces that look up to me, and no matter how much of a pathetic idiot i may be, I need to stay strong, to show them to never give up, even when faced with the impossible. good news is they are smart kids and most of them are doing better than me, and thats all i ask for in this dumbass life.

It's a reason only applicable for the weekends. When I worked a job I hated getting up on weekdays cause I knew I was going to be scuffed for time the entire day. On weekends though, I get up as early as possible and try to plan the day out cause I know I will get around 6-8 hours of free time to do whatever I want. Working on projects and hobbies is probably the appropriate answer, gives me great pleasure to wakeup on weekends, not so much weekdays, unless it's a holiday.

Cos life is fucking good man, even when it's shit. You never know who you're gonna meet or what's gonna happen. Made heaps of bad, borderline retarded choices when I was younger and still ended up with an amazing family.

I'm not rich, but I've done well for someone who's a bit retarded and if I can make it to a comfortable point in life any of you can and hopefully will.
