It seems incredibly basic, and that the Steven Universe "Animation team" did it doesn't help.

I don't get why the heck I was recommended it. Honestly the cat murder at the start of the video didn't help its case, being so selective, convoluted, and pussyish with its kills. Simon's (I assume he's Simon) is the worst; he kills two characters, only to get his second kill undone by fucking butterflies, and only to be the only on-screen kill of the big scary mook, a la the only RWBY antagonist I remember.

I see this show discussed a lot and nobody can tell me what it's actually about. I know it's an anthology and each season is it's own thing, but that's about it. It looks like one of those #BetterCartoons where it's kiddie horseshit on it's face but it's actually about DEEP and DARK themes. It just looks weird as shit.
