yeah gonna have to say toph is one of the best if not #1 blind character. it's not for pity, she actually has a story-progression reason to be blind, there are tasteful and fun jokes about it. every single storyteller should've done disability or snowflake shit like this, but instead we get pandering with no reason for a character to be a certain way other than brownie points
