I don't know if I'd call it a recipe but one of my favorite things to do when grilling is to slice avocados in half, hit them with a light amount of salt and pepper, and throw those fuckers face-down right on the grill. 5 minutes at medium high, serve as a side with a small spoon, put salsa and/or sour cream in the divot if you're feeling fancy. One half-avocado per person. I think I picked it up from Alton Brown and I almost never grill without buying avocados for this purpose.
