When they "pull the plug" on life support, do they literally unplug the equipment from the wall?

I mean, it seems less of a liability issue to simply unplug all the equipment at once rather than go to each piece of life support and disable it individually.

It's not an execution. It's ok if the equipment gets turned off in a sequence. They're not meant to die instantly, and it often takes minutes for them to cark it.

Usually there is at least one family member present too, so you don't want to just be yanking shit out of the wall.

Also, depending on the hospital, a lot of that equipment isn't mobile, it's fixed to the room so the plugs aren't readily accessible.

But in Canada they do just yank the plug. And if it's a white person they laugh at the patient and the family and tell them to get the fuck out of the hospital, they're taking up space meant for "vulnerable persons."
