About two weeks ago. A family member was getting ready for surgery (scheduled today) and she was worried about her rent and bills and how to cover that because her copay for her medical costs would completely drain her for the month, and she’ll be out of work for at least two weeks.

She’s the type who hates asking anyone for help. I took it on myself to cover her bills and rent for the month, no need to pay me back and not taking no for an answer. Needless to say she got very emotional when this happened. I was holding up ok until she bear hugged me, said she loved me and “I’m her best friend” That got me to cry too.
