Now popularized by ArabFunny type memes, I remember this audio being quite popular back then. When we shared ringtones through infrared. You can also find it unironically at the end of unfunny videos made by old people.

Here, it is known as "Ardilla borracha" (drunken chipmunk) because it ¿sounds? like its saying "Estoy borracha" (I'm drunk) but I found out at the end he's singing a Greek song called Chiculata Chikita by Xanthiotis Giorgos. So now I'm wondering if he's actually saying that or if it was misheard.

The indonesians call it the "laughing monkey" and they hear "Acimalaka" or something like that. Its like every country has their own interpretation of it

How do you know this audio as where you live? When did you first hear it?

I first heard this audio on Kiwifarms, about two minutes ago, in this thread. I know this audio as "Ardilla borracha", because that's what you said it was.

Isn't that El Risistas / Spanish Laughing Guy, run through a chipmunk effect?

I'm completely sure this sound effect comes from a cellphone recorded cartel video on South America from like around 2007 (or maybe it was Mexico) that got high pitched and spread as cellphone jokes amongs kids so much that everyone forgot about the original, I remember hearing the original one on a news site and it was very morbid, basically this 2 hispanic criminals were joking and laughing whilst they were executing and torturing an unfortunate girl who was in shock or something.

Nah not really I'm making all this shit up.
