Which element from Avatar the Last Airbender would you like to bend?

So it's only "water, earth, fire, and air" right?

Earth seems to be the most practical, and ironically enough, water as the deadliest for humans, since you can "bend" the water in their bodies (which will be as lethal as it gets).

With wind you can make money if you get contracted by the wind-energy companies in order to generate electricity, or to summon rain where there's drought (by blowing the clouds in the preferred direction). There's a lot more niche uses.

Fire? You'll need combustible to sustain it I guess, seems the least practical out of all.

I'd go with earth easily, and have water as a second choice.

Water canonically allows you ti bend the water in peoples’ blood, eventually getting extrapolated to where you can damage the part of the brain that allows bending.

Firebenders can generate flames from their bodies, barring only being under a solar eclipse. Firebenders who’ve overcome any anger issues can bend/generate lightning which ends up being a general source of electricity in the second series.

Earth also can bend metal by moving the impurities in the metal. So, depending how Chinese the metal in your society is, you could be incredibly capable.

Honestly, the worst one is Wind. The scope in which you can control air is limited, and they had to contrive a lot to make the Airbenders a threat in the second series.

I would like to be Fire but would probably end up as Earth.

I mean. I'm pretty sure if you can bend water you can direct it through a turbine. Same with fire bending. You could become a human fired boiler to generate steam to turn a turbine. Just a imagine a power plant with a bunch of fire benders chained up inside a massive burn chamber fire bending away to boil hundreds of gallons of water in the boiler chamber above. I figure this could practically be applied to fire Pokemon as well.

At this point, which subelement is better?
  • Waterbending: Bloodbending
  • Earthbending: Metalbending
  • Firebending: Lightningbending
  • Airbending: idk this one.
I prefer lightning bending; and become the next Raiden.

Earth. I'd become a metal bender and make bank. Also, Earth allows manipulating the same chemical changes in humans as bending Water, so don't come for me, fools. Those minerals in your body are my greatest weapon.

Given its such a soft magic system any element would allow you the means to gruesomely kill another using their own body. But I think given the explanation for how fire benders bend fire out of the atmosphere they would technically be capable atom division so you could nuke bend.

Bloodbending is realistically an insta-kill since manipulating someone's blood at all would trigger an induced heart attack.
