Why am I supposed to feel sympathy for women who die because they attempt a coat-hanger-abortion? How is that not a Darwin Award?

This is why things have gone down the tubes, people like you pretending like women actually have feelings and don't just mimic the thoughts and opinions of everyone around them. Why did you feel sympathy for women to begin with?

Plus tbh the fact they even have to try to get an abortion makes me think you weren't beating them beforehand. Are these women unmarried? Why are you letting these women get away with being in public without a husband or a male family member without facing reprisal?

You pro-female-life people are complete psychopaths.

You're supposed to do a lot of things, but the USA is a free fucking country so you don't have to give a shit.


Generally, coat hanger abortions are horribly desperate women, like teens who will be put on the streets and decide to gamble with their life (again), or women who have been raped but have no other option and would be mortified to carry the poor thing to term (as the child might eventually find out where they came from). The sympathy comes from things like that. There's absolutely no reason you HAVE to give sympathy though, and you can argue your point to others and they'll have to suck it up. I'm sympathetic, but I understand your point.

Would you feel sympathy for a man who gets drunk and crashes his ATV?

More to the point, would you feel sympathy for a man who gets drunk, hops on the least-well-maintained ATV he can find, and sets out with the deliberate, specific intention to run over and kill a young child, and then - immediately after crushing her tiny body beneath his wheels - manages to flip his ATV, and kills himself as well?

The history of women's plight with the subject of abortion is indeed a very horrid one, but at least we can take comfort in the fact that some of the perpetrators faced justice for what they did.

You don’t have to have sympathy for them. It’s not about sympathy, it’s about rights. Some people think fetuses that aren’t viable outside the mother don’t deserve the same rights as functioning humans.

If men got pregnant and had to care for infants, there would be an abortion clinic at every intersection.
