Socialism/communism is an example of such solution, but of course its mirror image – laissez-faire anarcho-capitalism – also has adherents. It's just it's easier to notice that "doing nothing" is going to have adverse consequences than "doing a huge of lot things" is. Therefore there are so many believers in various breeds of communism, but actual ancaps are only a bit more common than Bigfoot.
