Feedback Why are lolcows not encouraged to post in their own threads?

I'm new to Kiwi Farms but I'm curious, on a few occasions I've read comments of how a poster will be identified as being the subject of a thread, and ejected.

Why is this discouraged, I would love it if Jonathan Yaniv the person who led me to Kiwi Farms started to post in his thread. Twitter gets a bit tiresome after a bit and would it not open up a whole new way of approaching them?

Idiots shit up the threads by screechin autistically at the cows creating a headache for the mods and other users.

because it stops actual discussion and turns into hundreds of pages of morons trying to dunk on a legit tard.
Are we not missing out on their direct response to threads though? . Other than them trying to take legal action against you. If they had some way to engage with the Farms on whatever level they were capable of, would there not be some entertainment value to it?. I'm influenced by the fact that 'Take that off the god damm internet' is my favorite thread

more often than not, a lolcow being totally unaware of their thread and continuing to do what they do is the funniest. once it becomes lolcow vs kf it becomes a rerun.

Lemme put it this way.

This is Kiwifarms. The terminology therein described is similar to a farm, and all that entails. If you're a cow farmer, you're not gonna want to interfere with production. Our product is milking the lolcows. By milking these cows, we get some goofs and gaffs and have a laff or three. We are the farmers.

If we don't milk the cow properly, it'll just dry up. We make sure to keep it running smoothly by keeping the cow in their pen. Each pen is dedicated to a different breed of cow. We can't have them intermix, and if we the farmer go into the pen deliberately, it reduces the quality. It's like a semi-autonomous machine. We just have to make sure it runs every so often and not stick our damn hand in there.

Because unfortunately, the farms is full of people that act like complete asshats at a cow to farm positive ratings. It starts out with most people genuinely pointing out why a cow is being an idiot, but eventually those users drift away while the remaining ones continually shit up the thread by egging on the cow constantly.
Honestly, I wonder if there should be discussion on guidelines to ban people that shit up threads so severely by doing this...

OP, take a look at the recent Shane thread, which he found pretty early on if I'm not mistaken and tell me if this is funny or entertaining to read at all. Also, notice that whenever he's posting there, the thread grows some 30, 40 or 50 pages in a very short amount of time because everyone think it's cool to touch the crap themselves.

You can decide for yourself if that is a good thing or terminal cancer towards the quality of a thread but it seems most of us would say the latter.

Finally, cows are allowed in their threads on a case by case basis. This abject moron who asked Elon Musk for a CEO job live on stream is pretty harmless when he posts there and nobody banned him as far as I can remember. Being a small thread probably helps lots since the autists aren't coming out of the woodwork to reply to every single post by the cow every time.

If a lolcow can obey most site rules and most people responding to them can avoid being more autistic than the cow, then yeah, not a lot of harm in interaction.

If they can't (and a lot are not able to keep their spaghetti in the pockets, it's why they are lolcows most of the time), or the people responding become more pathetic than the cow trying to respond to them (raises hand in guilt of having done this before), then it just becomes an unfunny slapfight.

This is all fascinating to me, I would now have to agree that it's not useful to encourage them. I suppose if they want to address the farms directly a rational person would find another way, a medium post or whatever.

Most cows are too dumb and lack high IQs, often relying on unwanted attention to warrant being noticed. Your fellow kiwis are giving you good advice. I recommend taking it to heart. @Trig.Point, you've been here for quite a while and signed up for this site knowing the content users produce.

I was involved in baiting a genuine lolcow into introducing a bunch of facts about a large investor/capitalist who was her BF and people literally ruined it because they were too mean. She stoped posting all the juicy stuff just so some people could stroke their dicks. Fuck those people, but that's why we can't have nice(er) things. This wasn't here obviously but elsewhere.
