Why are peopl so fcuking stupid?

So the other day I overhear some people complaining about how recent bad weather left them without power. Some were complaining about how their kids couldn't do their homework, some old fogeys were complaining about how difficult it was to navigate their house in the dark, etc. etc.

Here's the thing- if the powers out and you can't see, just turn the damn lights on.

God, how stupid can some people be?
