Why are slavs infatuated with Nazism

There were Axis-aligned Slavs during the war, like the gypsies and hohols (as Russia likes kvetching about every five minutes). The conservative autocratic rule that most Slavic countries made its people receptive to fascist ideas. Neo-nazism is generally a symbol of anti-soviet, anti-western sentiment.

I'd also like to point out that Hitler thought that Slavs were subhuman not because of some retarded scientific racism invented in his lifetime but because he was German. The Teutons have been masters over Slavs for the whole time they have cohabited. It's like blaming Andrew Jackson's viewing the Indians as being subhuman and inferior on his populism.

I guess he didn’t finish that chapter in the history book. Since the Teutons ended up getting their ass handed to them and got forced to swear allegiance to the polish crown.

Good times.

I don't know if this is an ESL thing or being taught history by Wikipedia or what but "Teuton" in English usually refers to Germans in an historical context broadly. I think it is reasonably clear in my comment that I was using it as a synonym for Germanic people, not the so-called Teutonic Knights. And obviously German states have not won every battle they have ever fought with Slav ones. The Hussites come to mind immediately as well. What is constant however is even in these countries the nobility if not being dominated by Germans at least being substantially overrepresented and many skilled trades, professions and offices essentially monopolized by that race.

Definitely an ESL thing, first time I’ve heard about that use of the word Teuton. You live and learn I guess.

This is clueless as well, the only slavic country you could say was dominated by germans was Czechia. Early Poland was in a way dependent too, but ultimately became a formidable adversary. Serbia has been sandwitched between Ottomans and Hungary. Russia used to have a few kings of prussian blood, so what. everyone did that. You aren't even being fair.

And that's not just 'any battle', it was a decisive one, shaping the map of Europe for centuries.

Germany itself developed much later than the rest of Western Europe,
