It seems like every major "Green Energy/Sustainability/etc" party or groups tend to lean hard left, if not explicitly so. Would Republicans benefit if they did a 180 and started supporting green energy as the next big thing?

Being charitable, I'd say lefty environmentalists are usually more concerned with the environment on a macro level in fitting with their desire for a global community. While I'm sure there are less well known groups who actually do hate China and India for being pollution powerhouses, I think the retarded ones are platformed more often to discredit environmentalism as a whole. And then you have ones like Just Stop Oil, who I am totally convinced are controlled opposition secretly paid for by Big Oil.Hunters and 2A groups are usually big conservationists (ignore the lead deposition), and as we’ve seen with most environmental protests, most environmentalists don’t actually care about physically preserving ecosystems themselves, just the concept of “being green.”
They've ironically created more destruction to the environment in their protests than what they're bitching about sometimes.ignore the lead deposition), and as we’ve seen with most environmental protests, most environmentalists don’t actually care about physically preserving ecosystems themselves, just the concept of “being green.”
ngl, I haven't personally done much research into fracking. is it safe? should we be worried in the long run?I don't think people realize how badly Greenpeace poisoned the well for environmentalism, and still do. They're complete retards and woefully behind the times when it comes to things like nuclear energy. So naturally conservatives organized around opposing them and that did sometimes lead to outright anti-environmental policies on the conservative side. And of course, fracking has always been a sticking point. But by and large pretty much every American was horrified when Silent Spring came out and thanks to Greenpeace continually shooting themselves in the foot, conservative conservationism has started to make a come back especially with nuclear energy. Conservative women have also pretty much always been pro-animal rights and pro-recycling.
There are hundreds of real environmental concerns to give, and none of them are carbon dioxide, the only one that matters to the greens.
Because it is the religion of Science"Is CO2 the only problem we have?"
"Yeap! CO2! Moar solar panel! Moar windmill!"
"What about aquifer depletion, soil erosion, desertification, ocean acidification, peak oil, peak natural gas, peak phosphorus, peak minerals, synthetic fertilizer shortages, nitrogen and phosphorus runoff making algae blooms, microplastics, PFAS, endocrine disruptors, and so on?"
"I don't know what that is! CO2!"
"You don't know very much, do you?"
"We're all gonna DROWN if we don't stop putting out CO2!"
"You're still breathing, so I find that highly unlikely."
Then why the fuck aren't leftists out there championing nuclear energy you dumb cunt. Show me one (1) of them who are focused on anything besides muh "global warming".Because conservatards think wanting to protect the environment and not fucking destroy it by letting corporations rape and pillage wherever they please and pollute the atmosphere is "woke communism". I'm not sure if it's Just Stop Oil, but either that or a similar group was literally founded by a Getty oil heiress. And then you have ones like Just Stop Oil, who I am totally convinced are controlled opposition secretly paid for by Big Oil.
Fracking often fucks up whatever localized environment you do it in, so you weigh the cons of fucking it up with the pros of getting lots of natural gas for energy independence.ngl, I haven't personally done much research into fracking. is it safe? should we be worried in the long run?
