Why did #metoo fail?

I decided to think about MeToo about how it was being astroturfed as this big movement that was going to take down Hollywood, yet it is now pretty much a dead movement, and I can't think of a single person they were actually able to take down, except for maybe Al Franken but he was on their side and all they did was make him resign his senator position, and from what i've seen he's been trying to make a comeback, so what was the moment that signaled #metoo's doom? Was it when Joe Biden was accused by multiple women and yet the metoo people decided that these women were lying, going against their #believeallwomen mantra? Was it the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial where the majority decided to side with Depp? Or was Metoo doomed from the very beginning and whatever early successes they had were going to end up getting reversed in the long term?

It failed bc ppl got bored of it. Outrage requires more outrage, something that you haven't heard. It cannot be the *normal* and as such, it needs to get more and more ludicrous.

Did it fail, or did a lot of the big figures get done and then it fizzled out? Really the effects are still going on today, for example P Diddy. I'm sure only a fraction of the real sickos got done, but when police do a big drugs sweep, they still leave people out too.

There were also a decent amount of people exposed a little beforehand in the wake of Yewtree and such too.

Sadly it's hard to prove historic sex crimes, most of them aren't filming it. Five years down the line, there's no biosamples to collect. People's memories of a night out and how consenting someone is get blurred. It's not like a murder where you find a body with undisturbed hairs on it, or financial crime with a paper trail. It's largely he said, she said after a pretty short period.

Metoo was made for weathly privileged tertiary sector women.

Am I supposed to feel bad for a bitch that sucked a malformed Jewish penis to get rich?

The regular woman can't relate to that.

Actual victims and outrage-addicted faggots want their claims to either be considered by themselves, or associated with a bigger movement to make it sound more real.
As soon as metoo got the reputation of being full of bullshit accusations (high profile, doesn't matter if they were minorities), using it would basically be marking your claim as bullshit before anybody actually reads it.

Did they really get anyone taken down? I can't think of a single figure who actually did get arrested for it. Maybe Weinstein but even Weinstein got acquitted in a court, albeit that's a case that's still going on.

It suffered from the fatal flaw of all such virtue signalling. It failed to anticipate the reaction of society to it and assumed people would just take it and suffer what they righteously deserved.

NXVIM people, Nassar, Cosby (they fucked his case I know), then you have people like Masterton, R Kelley etc which are tangentially related. Not by the hundreds, but some pretty big names in their industries too.

This was all probably clouded up with all the other accusations that did not have any weight. Even then I struggle to see the connection between those convicted of pedophilia and MeToo in itself as I have mostly connected MeToo to women accusing people of sexually assaulting them.

Social movements always peter out after a time. This doesn't always signify failure. It is just the natural course of things.

Look at the every company, every company it is filled by boardrooms of useless women.
Look at the dating scene, men are afraid to grab a good ass because that could ruin their life.
Look at the media, there is nothing made for men anymore.

#MeToo did not fail. It made women lord over men in every facet of western life.

Did it fail? It seems to have accomplished certain objectives, namely driving a massive wedge between the sexes in particular contexts such as professional settings.
I’ve always suspected me too was to take the heat off child predation in Hollywood.
If that was the case then it failed since now people are talking about pedophilia going on in Hollywood.

And yet trannies lord over women in those same facets, nearly all of the movies made for women bomb heavily, and those companies are getting rid of those boardrooms. So if their goal was to put women on a Golden pedestal and to keep them from being mocked, then they also failed in that regard.

Trannies are a symptom, in a society that evaluate women over men, you retain your position by becoming a woman. Sort of like "women in a suit" trope decades ago.

And while it is fun seeing the result causing failures, the question is if we won't all be dragged down with it.

The goal was destruction and subversion, not any kind of ‘making things better for women.’ The women used as useful idiots to push and propagate it may have sincerely believed that was what it was for, but I do t think that’s what it was for.
Just like BLM doesn’t make racism go away. Seen that meme about antifa that goes something like ‘what if we called ourselves the anti bad guy league then we could do no wrong, it’s literally in the name!’

There’s nothing good full stop. Have you seen seen a single thing on TV or film in the last ten years you thought was great? I’m trying to think. ‘The terror’ was quite Ok, so was ‘Chernobyl.’ Movie-wise, I can’t think of anything. Last film I saw at the cinema and thought ‘that was really good’ was 2009.
