Why do so many losers on the Internet gravitate to the right wing?

It's hard not to notice this, but a whole lot of losers online gravitate toward right wing politics, often to a way more extreme degree than even right wingers IRL.

People online aren't the most well adjusted in the first place, so perhaps it's just a matter of weirdos congregating and egging others on into more extreme and absurd beliefs?

To some degree I think there's jealousy at play. The type of people to rant about the jews, gays, alcohol, media, or anything modern online aren't the type enjoying their lives or having much fun, so they want to deny fun to everyone else. A crab bucket situation if you will.

Perhaps they're just majorly autistic and simply want everything to conform to a very strict set of rules because otherwise they have difficulty navigating the world around them and want to blame everything else for their failure.

People online have to encounter a blue-haired tranny jannying them out of their favourite community for innocuous reasons way more often than IRL, so I'd imagine their opinion sours over time. There's also obviously the mask of relatively greater anonymity which lets people scream more unhinged thoughts than would be civil in a physical setting.

I'm not a leftie, just calling out what I've continually witnessed online for years now. Unlike rightwingers online, e-communists are far easier to ignore and thus less annoying to me as a result.

The right is now the counterculture. Just like the left did back in the 60's, it attracts a lot of young, disaffected and discontented people who want an alternative to a society they see as fundamentally broken.

Some of them will be very sane and capable but some of them are going to be real weirdos.

Serious answer: Currently, right-wing thought is the most heavily censored, forbidden ideology in the Western world. Being caught observing the Forbidden Patterns (such as the very high prevalence of pedophilia among the rainbow flag people) will make you and outcast, so naturally, everyone on the right is either an outcast or on their way to being one. You have to be morally and psychologically comfortable with going against conventional morality and thinking things that will make everyone hate you. Consequently, dissidents are always social outcasts, and dissident movements always attract a lot of outcasts, many of those being unsavory sorts themselves. Revolutionary movements in history are usually replete with misfits and psychos.

Oh it's all a construction, in some European countries there really is no Left or Right but the governments and the media have created the dichotomy positioning the establishment as Left and anyone who disagrees as right.
