I find that online message boards are nice because they are similar to small tribal communities-- which Humanity evolved to exist within, and from where most our social tendencies originate. Over time users begin to form an idea of the personality of other users and even develop nostalgic bonds.

It's almost fair to say with 100% certainty that users come here for the social interaction as apposed to purely the content. We wish to judge, and we wish to be judged-- positively.

So why are you here? Social reasons? Or something else?

I initially came here because I followed (and continue to follow) the exploits of Christian/Christine Weston Chandler (his new tranny name actually has a nice ring to it and sounds more organic than other lolcows)

In addition, there are some weird and wonderful people to follow. It’s almost like an IRL Truman Show mostly centered around Chris but featuring a huge cast.

I like the forumers. And it's nice to have a forum where people can honestly discuss things logically, with mutual respect even when we disagree. It may be a troll forum, but it follows the western traditions of free speech and democracy better than some of our institutions do. Thomas Jefferson would have an account here, if he still lived.

Honestly talking about things helps more to resolve them than burying them. Ironically kf has helped me to LIKE some of the sjw pet groups more than sjws have. It's easy to fall into REALLY hating people just to spite them... but we mustn't.

I've been here since it was the CWCki forums and I like a lot of the users, especially the other oldfags. I am also fuled by morbid cuiosity which is why I find following Chris and other cows so interesting. I like that the forum has the "pretty much anything goes except for extreme crippling autism" mindset, because it's a refreshing change from other places online. Our moderators are great too because they do their fucking job while also shitposting with the rest of us.
