Feedback Why doesn't this forum process the 'Ñ' anymore

For some reason everywhere except the title whenever someone tries and type the spanish ñ, only a normal n comes out. All other weird foreign letters show up when you type them, why the beef with the spaniardos? You don't expect them to use "ny" instead.

Yeah I ran into this copypastaing some lucha dude's name, iirc it's like, it shows up in reply box but not on the post or something?
Obviously if that's the biggest problem the site has in any given week it's a great week, but yeah I just figured it was part of the font style settings or whatever

My first thought would be that the software was sanitising the input in some way, either limiting to certain encodings or character sets.

But then I remembered you can still do stuff like

This is a 100% honest and true unbiased opinion, but instead of writing in Spanish, just write in Catalan instead. That way you'd type "ny" instead of "ñ~". And its special characters like "ç" are supported! Clearly all of Spain should just switch to Catalan

Not that farfetched considering how much of a clusterfuck of differing ideologies the independentist movement already is.

The new font used for the posts pretty much killed tildes in general, portuguese also uses it for a few words with the letters "a" and "o" most common being our equivalent of the word "no" = "não".
