Why haven’t we renamed the days of the week yet? - We’re replacing every other thing with far fewer reasons, so why not?

Society is currently on a roll when it comes to forcing through linguistic changes in the name of supposed inclusivity. Yet, one very clear and obvious exception remains — the days of the week.

They’re named after gods, but nobody can quite decide which ones. The Romans went with a mixture of planets from the solar system, while some others went with characters from Norse mythology like Odin and Thor.

Shouldn’t we be asking ourselves:
  • Who still believes in these mythical skydaddies? Anyone?
  • What makes their myths more important than others?
  • Why in the frigg do we let their names live on rent free?
  • Do named days even make sense with modern calendaring?
In line with other changes, I think it’s time to revisit this fundamental idea we take for granted, deconstruct it (post-modern style) and pitch a much better solution to society at large, so that we impose upon the unbelieving majority no more, with a view towards a more inclusive society for all!

In all seriousness, why hasn’t anyone in the current “mainstream” pushed for this yet? 🤡

None of the day names in current Anglosphere culture have strong religious or cultural connections with any of the institutions (family ties, the church, etc) the Powers That Be want to dismantle. Ergo there's no reason to rename them.

If the days of the week were some shit like PraiseGodDay, BeAGoodMotherDay, RespectYourFatherDay, etc of course you'd have all sorts of fringe groups screeching about them and calling for their abolition.

Once the globalists take over they should have the days of the week just be a randomly generated number where dubs equals a full day of brutal manual labor and trips equals a full day of drinking and smoking crack.

The days of the week are named after the planets in our solar system, which are named after gods and goddesses. It’s more apparent when you translate Tuesday - Friday into French.

The order of the days of the week was devised by the Chaldeans, who also observed planetary hours.

If you wanted to be more inclusive I guess they could change the names to something visible from our solar system like fixed stars e.g. Bellatrix, but there would be an issue because the average person only recognizes them as the names of characters from Harry Potter.

First of all, stop giving them ideas. Second, give them time and they will eventually do it if clown world persists and they truly have nothing else to pilfer. They may be named after planets, but the progressive mind set says that because they are also named after Greek (read evil white colonizers) gods and goddesses, it must be expunged and made more "inclusive." (read current year celebrities and\or historical progressive figures) (also read niggers)

They originate in white people stuff from the Before Times (i.e. before 1964), which makes them bad.

In Roman mythology Mercury was considered to be neuter, Saturn was castrated and in Greek Ouranos was fully emasculated so trannies should feel represented.

In this vein, the only days that should be taken issue with are Tuesday and Friday, Mars and Venus being the sexual male and female archetypes.

Because Donald Trump was elected so they're a year or two behind schedule.

They are named after Norse pagan gods i.e. white supremacy. So the most equitable solution is to rename them Oneday, Twosday, Threesday, etc.

They already did that in Portugal. Saturday and sunday are sabado and domingo, the rest are numbers 2-6,
