I haven't looked into it in a long time but ~10 years ago the US obesity numbers were being entirely propped up by blacks and hispanics; if you only factored in whites then the US was no more or less fat than the rest of the anglosphere. Which is still too fat but pot and kettle. Nowadays it's impossible to know because blacks and hispanics just label themselves white just like in crime data, but you can still correlate obesity data and race data by county, along with every other undesirable trait, and the heatmaps still line up perfectly.

euros who probably dont even understand how their own governments work and get their mental image of the usa from the marvel cinematic universe will smugly ask why joe q taxpayer doesnt want to subsidize "free" public transit or "free" healthcare

it might just help them understand the why if they took about five minutes to consider what it might look like a year into those things being a reality for the united states, but i have some doubts about them having the requisite imagination to accomplish that, so don't hold your breath

Yeah try learning the differences between European Council, Council of Europe and The Council of the EU and know you as a voter don't have a say in the matter anyway.

Those who do know the difference and aren't higher uppers, likely are the overmotivated kind who interns for free in the European Parliament (another institution, that is there to pretend the voters have a say) and hug a hot water pipe while sleeping in its vast basement.
