Why is taylor swift still popular?

Makes songs about how many relationships she has had. Current year woman is 35 years old who has more pipe run through her than a skyscraper, and somehow can't find a good man. It's a no brainer.

One explanation I've heard from an actual Taylor Swift evangelist is that her songs are what a woman's internal monologue sounds like which is super funny because I've been subjected to a lot of her songs and every single one is about a man which means if that's what women think about all day then women don't even pass the bechdel test in real life.

Another explanation I've heard is that it's effectively an ARG for white girls trying to figure out which song is about which ex which sounds like actual literal hell to me but also sounds like something white girls would lap up like dog water.
