Why would you post videos exclusively on Twitter?

I think some people post exclusive content to Twitter to try to farm followers. Don't know if it's effective.
What would you gain with getting more followers on twitter? People on twitter just like to complain, and don't buy anything. That's the worst kind of people you want as a customer. Another thing is there's no way to really monetize stuff on Twitter. Twitter is able to stay around because it's useful as a Propgranda tool and that's it.

My understanding is that there is a bit of a monetization scheme on Twitter depending on how much engagement your account gets. Maybe not YouTube Bux but if your livelihood is Internet videos, you're probably trying to take whatever you can get.

Huh, I didn't know that. Now it makes more sense why content creators keep using twitter despite how cancerous the site is.
