Will Windows 11 be as dysfunctional as Vista? - We don't need a antivirus software protecting us against spyware, that's fascism.

A month ago, we were introduced to the new OS the Microsoft promised not to make when telling us 6 years ago. Judging by it's interface that looks something like an iPhone or a gadget for complete retards seeing as that is what the company panders to. Is the OS itself gonna function like a severely autistic Troon?

It's going to be a piece of shit. Its microsoft yet again trying to make desktop and mobile OS the same, which does not work and I pray companies stop doing this shit.

As bad as Vista though? No idea. I'll have to see when I eventually am forced to upgrade. Toping Vista in being shit is gonna be pretty hard.

It's a rip-off of macOS. The dock being in the middle was exclusively an Apple thing

That's dumb. Personally, I think they should make all new versions of windows have the option to use the UI of any previous version. It's a pain in the ass to buy a new PC and then have to figure out where they've moved everything.

Edit:
Also fucking MS word should go back to being standard on all PCs.

  • Edge browser-based shell
  • Mandatory Microsoft account
  • Mandatory TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot, with any workarounds inevitably patched with time and will brick your computer if already used
  • With Secure Boot being mandatory, no dual booting with Linux
  • Same W10 spyware
  • Shilling for Windows Cloud PC
  • Will inevitably be forced on Windows 10 users

Is the sun going to rise tomorrow morning?

They should combine the excessive use of UAC from Vista with the spyware of Windows 10.

"You opened a png file. Microsoft would like to know everything about this file and why you opened it. Enter an administrator password to allow this."

"You're about to shutdown the PC. Send minidumps from recent crashes to Microsoft first?"

I don't understand why every company keeps trying to emulate Apple's UI. If I wanted to own a Mac (or iPhone) I would go out and buy one lol. The UI isn't even as nice as Apple's. If you're going to make your shit oversimplified and minimalist, at least make it look visually appealing lmao.

It's Windows 10 with rounded corners. Nothing interesting.

  • Mandatory Microsoft account
Microsoft account is only mandatory for Windows 11 Home, Windows 11 Pro still allows for local account use, which is what I am using right now on the Windows 11 Pro beta.

I would highly suggest that if you want to avoid having to use a Microsoft account for Windows 11 in the future, upgrade to Windows 10 Pro using a cheap key you can buy from one of those sites online that deals in software keys. The Windows 10 keys will be hard to come by once Windows 11 comes out, and the cheap Windows 11 Pro keys won't be available for quite a while.

As Vista? Maybe. Vista needed 4gb of ram and a 64bit processor to run decently and manufacturers had the stupid idea to include Vista on computers with 512mb of ram and low end celerons as the bare minimum specs coupled with components that were incompatible with XP in case you wanted to downgrade, and still made XP outlive vista on the notebook and entry desktop segment until windows 7 came in.

And it looks like history is about to repeat itself...

Windows as a whole hasn't been functional since they decided to kill 7. It took years just to make 7 work right. Windows 11 is Windows 10 with a bullshit new theme and Mac OS styled button arrangements. Nothing more, nothing less.

Using Windows and expecting it to be a functional OS, is like standing in the middle of the street in Harlem, screaming "NIGGER" at the top of your lungs, repeatedly, getting the shit kicked out of you, and wondering how this could have happened.

That, and every version of Windows that was meant to be always online (Windows 8 and beyond), was built from the ground up for the express purpose of being spyware FIRST, an operating system second. If you keep falling for The Windows Jew every single time, the problem isn't even Microsoft's software anymore, it's you. There are plenty of operating systems out there, but you elect to use Windows, for absolutely no good reason. All of your Windows programs run on Linux if it's not an Adobe "product". "But what about muh media manipulation suites?" Get a fucking Mac, you were already using the wrong tool for the job if you had Adobe for Windows.

You're casting your line in the outhouse and wondering why the guys in the boats at the lake are hauling in tons of fish. Windows is literal peasantry.

Even though I never want to defend Windows, most non-OEM/SysInt boards will have a hybridized secure boot explicitly for this, for getting around when it was tried with 10. ASUS comes to mind.
