To be honest, the "look how progressive we are pls give us twitter social brownie points" is one of things why I've been avoiding western games for a long time alongside of how terribly bland their gameplay is. The sole western games I recall buying in the past few years were Baba is You, Swine HD Remaster, Pix the Cat, the HD versions of Oddworld games and Risk of Rain. The fun japanese games were much greater in numbers overall.
