i'll say! in the 16th century, we had to solicit the attention of crazy people in person, which was even more inadvisable at the time because we still believed in the "miasma" theory of disease - if someone was close enough to smell you, they would catch your autism, and if this website has taught me anything over the years it's that autism works exactly like that.

in fact, i habitually cleanse my posts with soap as a common courtesy. this ritual has kept me autism-free despite constant and often intimate contact with extremely gross people. here is my autism soap:
