If you were in a chinaman country were it was legal and common, would you ever eat dog meat in order to experience local cuisine, or maybe just because you are curious. I think I might, although that depends on whether it tastes good and whether the dogs were slaughtered in a human manner. If you've ever eaten a dog, please tell whether it was any good.

Feel free to share your opinion on eating cat meat as well.

If it's simply being done during a festival (that isn't as stupidly abusive as the major Chinese one) or done in an attempt to cull stray dogs, yeah. We've got a lot of problems with stray animals in general destroying shit and it would be a good solution if people got on board. Cats are part of the issue as well, a way bigger one even. They're killing the hell out of birds and reptiles. The major issue would be cooking them right to actually remove chances of disease transfer from consuming "wild" animals. As far as If I'd eat dog regularly? No. It seems like it would be a pretty big issue figuring out how to actually sustain a dog farm. Or a cat farm.

Bitch, I'd eat a human if it meant I'd survive starvation. Everyone else can die, while I eat a hearty meal of well-cooked human.
